Everything between the street and the final rack hop is passive. Outside plant cable arrives, gets spliced in the meet-me room from outdoor jacket to plenum or riser rated, and runs as factory-terminated trunk through the main, horizontal and equipment distribution areas. Only at the last hop does an active transceiver appear. Get the passive layer wrong and no transceiver fixes it.

OS2 or OM4, which should we specify?
OS2 single-mode for distance, OM3 and OM4 multimode for short reach inside a row. The deciding factor is the link budget on the longest run in the zone, not what the last build used.
How much fiber fits in 1U?
144F in a fixed 1U unit, built as twelve modular cassettes. An 864F rollable ribbon trunk feeds a stack of them.
Which MPO polarity do you supply?
Type A, B and C are all available, specified per order. Tell us the polarity method your patching scheme uses and the trunks are built to match.
Can delivery be staged to our build phases?
Yes. Large orders are commonly split across phases so cable is not sitting on site months before the racks land. Lead time is 6 to 10 weeks from PO on the first tranche.
